Short Biography

Paolo Oliva from Switzerland started his PhD in the Stahlberg group at CINA in July 2016. He studied Physics at the Department of Physics, University of Basel. He did his master’s thesis in the Gerber Group at the Department of Physics focused on the development of a FlexAFM-based device and a corresponding deflection data read-out software. His current scientific field includes the analysis of cantilever array-based devices and the integration of thin membrane as nanonmechanical resonators.
